Canon HV-20 is becoming a blessing for all the filmmakers around the world. The main problem with the small budget minidv camcorder intended for filmmaking is that it can't records at 30 fps(frame per second) while the professional digital film cameras operates at 24fps.It is this major difference which makes normal camcorder recording giving a mundane and non film look.
The thing is that when a camera records at 30fps it skips some intermediate frames giving a slight lower movement of frames and hence providing a softer film look which looks beautiful.whether you are making a movie to be released in theaters or not , but you will always want it to look good when someone watches it on his pc atleast.Canon HV-20 is the cheapest camera in the whole world to record at 24fps.
The High definition advantage also makes it simple for your work to be converted into films when you want it.And last but not the least it comes with a price tag of $1000.In india currently it is coming at a price of rs. 85,000.
Lets see when other brands make a foray into this small budget filmmaking camera market.
