These films were made from a sony cybershot camera and edited using window movie maker. These films taught me one thing for sure that in the world of creativity content does matter irespective of the constraint of resources. I decided to make a film and submit to the film festival , But after doing a lot of research i found out that even if you don't pay a single penny to any of the actor making a full length feature film and submitting to a film festival is a costly affair atleast in india where film festivals are still not very much influenced by Digital film making which is currently giving hopes to lot of poor creators around the world.
IFFI Goa and Kolkata film festivals only accepts film prints and thus it becomes nearly impossible if you lack funds. But i am sure the days are not far when Digital cinema theatres will engulf the world and it will cost you only INR 2,00,000 to unleash ur creativity. And this will happen befor 2010 for sure. These days will not be the day of sanjay leela bhansali but will be of Persons like Dibakar banerjee(Khosla ka ghonsla). The indian viewer will no more be seeing films with lavish costumes and expensive sets but will appreciate films made under one roof with tiny budget embedding human emotions beautifully.
